MONROVIA, March 12 (LINA) – The Criminal Court” C” has sentenced a notorious drug dealer known as George Obi, alias “Original Japan,” to 20 years imprisonment for drug trafficking.
George Obi was sentenced alongside three others who were slapped with five years each following their conviction by trial jurors.
The 12-member jury team came down with a unanimous guilty verdict against the four men, based upon the evidence adduced during the trial.
The other three Co-defendants who were convicted with Obi for their roles in the same case were Peter Mamah, Ndubuisi Okonkwo, and Bridgestone Harris.
Handing down final judgement in the case, Presiding Judge Blamo Dixon stated that the evidence presented has linked Obi (Original Japan), Mamah, Okonkwo, and Harris to the crime charge thereby warranting their conviction.
The Defendant was charged with Unlawful maintenance and distribution of controlled drugs or substances, unlicensed sale and distribution of controlled drugs or substances, and criminal conspiracy.
